According to Alfa Romeo Automobilisimo Storico, chassis number AR 1452498 originally corresponds to an Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV RHD (105.45), manufactured on the 4th April 1969 and sold on the 10th April 1969 Alfa Romeo SA Johannesburg.
This 1750 GTV Mark 1 was subject to a high quality restoration seven years ago and has covered just 8,500 miles since.
Presented in Alfa Rosso the car is body coloured underneath and is structurally sound and in excellent condition. The interior is in perfect condition with the Mark 1's flying buttress seats and original carpets, dashboard and wood veneers are in great condition.
The engine runs smoothly and the engine bay has had much care put into it during restoration which shows in the detail.
Recently fitted with period style GTA replica alloy wheels and subject of a thorough preparation by Southwood including, replacement reconditioned steering box, chassis strengthening, new Eibach road springs, rebuilt brake and clutch master cylinders, replacement along with new rear wheel bearings and half shaft oil seals.
Cosmetically we are carrying out a full body repaint in Alfa Rosso and re polishing the original stainless steel bumpers to ensure the car presents beautifully.
A very original and correct car and the rare Mark 1 version will therefore be ready to be enjoyed.
